EPA sets public sessions on upcoming oil and gas emissions rules

EPA is ramping up its public engagement on its planned new oil and gas sector emissions controls for methane and other pollutants, announcing that it will hold virtual public listening sessions next month to inform rules for the potent greenhouse gas that President Joe Biden required in one of his early executive orders. The agency also said it will hold trainings later this month for communities, tribes and small businesses to provide background on the sector and the rulemaking process...
