Court rejects New Mexico’s bid to sever PFAS waste case from MDL

A federal appeals court has dealt a blow to New Mexico’s efforts to pursue hazardous waste litigation against the Air Force over per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination, denying the state’s attempt to remove the case from a massive multi-district litigation (MDL) case and transfer it back to a federal trial court.
