Agencies Weigh Options For CWA Farm Waiver In Wake Of Limited Benefits

EPA, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Army Corps of Engineers are still weighing options for exempting farm conservation practices from CWA dredge-and-fill permitting, a top EPA official says, adding that a controversial “interpretive” rule creating the exemptions does not appear to have had the intended benefits.
