Wastewater Utilities Ask EPA To Broaden Effluent Treatment Plants Review

Municipal wastewater utilities are asking EPA to broaden its planned review of centralized waste treatment (CWT) plants that accept wastewater from oil and gas facilities to include all CWTs, saying that some treatment plants have inadequately characterized and treated wastewater from other sectors and created problems for the utilities.
