PEER Urges EPA To Regulate Coal Ash Reuse In Early Comments On Rule

Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER), a group that represents government whistleblowers, is urging EPA to strengthen its proposed rule regulating coal ash and other coal combustion wastes to more strictly regulate products that contain reused ash -- a major beneficial use that industry says will be stigmatized by EPA rules.
