Facing Concerns, EPA Weighs Late Clarifications To Novel Drilling Air Rules

EPA is weighing clarifying provisions in its recently signed, but not yet promulgated, air rules for the oil and gas sector after state and industry officials cautioned that some provisions -- including control requirements for storage tanks, when "modifications" trigger control requirements and EPA's definition of "wells" subject to the rule -- are confusing.
