EPA, Industry Reach Siloxane Monitoring Deal After Data Reporting Dispute

EPA and silicone manufacturers have reached a long-awaited agreement to govern an environmental monitoring program for use in a future agency risk assessment of a widely used siloxane chemical after resolving a dispute over how the industry-funded program should report detection of the chemical below certain low levels specified by EPA.
