EPA's New IRIS Policies Seen Delaying Several Major Risk Assessments
EPA is indefinitely delaying a handful of high-level chemical risk assessments under its Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS), with sources saying the delays could be aimed at giving the agency more time to decide how to amend the studies to account for planned reforms of the IRIS process long criticized by industry and Republicans.
