EPA Seeks To Ease Air Monitoring Requirements For Overburdened States

EPA is proposing to streamline and simplify its air quality monitoring requirements in order to help reduce burdens for states that are struggling to meet the mandates due to shrinking budgets, a move that could make it easier for states to comply with agency rules that require the creation of new monitoring networks for various pollutants.
