An EPA Clean Air Act Advisory Committee (CAAAC) workgroup in a draft report is urging the agency to conduct a “systematic review” of its programs to reduce urban toxic emissions, placing a heavy emphasis on the lingering public health risks from diesel exhaust as one of the largest concerns for cities seeking to cut air toxics levels.
