EPA may not renew an expiring information collection request (ICR) authorizing the agency to seek data from industry for air toxics permits, which could allow industrial boilers to avoid obtaining site-specific permits due to EPA's failure to promulgate a rule for the units by a court-ordered deadline, according to an agency official.
