Congress urged to ramp up DOE funding for emerging technologies

A range of industry, environmental and other groups are urging Congress to boost funds for the Energy Department’s (DOE) research, development, demonstration, and deployment (RDD&D) of innovative energy solutions in fiscal year 2023, saying lawmakers must pair existing funds for late-stage technologies with increased funds to test emerging ones.
