D.C. Circuit denies rehearing in FERC carbon ‘cost’ suit

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has denied a pipeline company’s request to reconsider a three-judge panel’s August decision requiring that energy regulators weigh the use of the social cost of carbon (SCC) to analyze the greenhouse gas effects of planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities.
