EPA releases initial HFC allocations for new phasedown program

EPA is releasing the allocations for the production and use of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) coolants for the first year of its final framework to implement a statutory phasedown of the climate-warming chemicals, including allowances for general use and also those dedicated for special uses such as computer manufacturing.
