High court delays decision on ACE rule petition

The Supreme Court has delayed a decision on whether to take up a request from supporters of the Trump EPA’s Affordable Clean Energy (ACE) coal plant greenhouse gas rule to overturn a lower court’s vacatur of the rule, saying in an Oct. 4 docket entry that it will reconsider the certiorari petitions at the justices’ Oct. 8 conference.
