California Bill Aims To Land First Nuclear Fusion Energy Pilot Plant By 2040

A California state senator is introducing legislation aimed at accelerating the development of nuclear fusion energy by advancing fusion science and technology, with a goal of “delivering the world’s first fusion energy pilot plant in the state by 2040” to help meet the state’s climate and zero-carbon energy goals.
