D.C. Circuit To Hear Oil Industry Climate Appeal After High Court Rejection

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit is poised to hear oral arguments in the oil sector’s push for D.C.’s climate nuisance suit to be heard in federal court, rather than in D.C. superior court, even though the Supreme Court recently declined to hear industry efforts to reverse other appellate decisions rejecting such “removal” attempts.
