DOE Floats NEPA Exclusions For Clean Energy Storage, Transmission

The Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to add and revise categorical exclusions (CEs) for some clean energy projects to avoid detailed National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review, offering streamlined procedures for certain clean energy storage systems, solar projects and transmission lines.
