Interior Secretary Deb Haaland is scrapping various Trump-era policies intended to streamline National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) reviews and pledging to conduct more fulsome analysis of climate and environmental justice (EJ) issues, including by using the social cost of carbon (SCC) climate damage tool.
