Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is vowing to speed deployment of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations under the 2021 infrastructure law’s formula grant program for states, while telling Republican lawmakers skeptical of the program that officials are not going to repurpose funds for the program without a change in the law.
