EPA, DOE Offer New Details On Competitive Methane Reduction Grants

EPA and the Department of Energy (DOE) are providing additional details about roughly $1 billion in forthcoming competitive grants to measure and reduce oil and gas methane emissions, with such awards part of the Inflation Reduction Act’s (IRA) multi-part effort to curb such emissions.
