EPA Fights Industry Challenge On HFC Blends, Fearing ‘Massive Loophole’

EPA is warning that if industry succeeds in appellate litigation to block its rules for refrigerant “blends” that contain the potent greenhouse gas hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), it would create a “massive loophole” in its congressionally required program to sharply phase down the chemicals.
