EPA Finalizes Near-Term Auto GHG Rule With Tougher Requirements

EPA is finalizing an update to greenhouse gas standards for model year 2023-2026 light-duty vehicles, imposing requirements on automakers that will achieve “significant” emissions reductions including tighter standards than it initially proposed for later years covered by the rule.
