EPA Supplemental Plan May Signal Tougher Approach To HFC Blends

EPA has sent for White House review a draft supplemental proposal that observers are interpreting as a sign the agency may narrow or scrap a plan to allow use of certain hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) alternatives in the foam sector, after some companies and environmentalists raised concerns about the prior plan’s climate effects.
