The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is launching an environmental review of a developer’s plan to add carbon capture and storage (CCS) to a planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal in Texas, a first-of-its-kind move that could create a climate mitigation framework for future gas infrastructure projects.
