A coalition of environmental justice, community and animal rights groups is petitioning the California air board to revoke the eligibility of methane gas captured at agricultural facilities from receiving credit under the state’s low-carbon fuel standard (LCFS), or at a minimum significantly reduce the projected climate benefits from such credits.
