House Democrats’ Call For Methane ‘Census’ May Preview Spending Bill

Democrats on the House Science Committee have floated recommendations for new federal agency initiatives to boost monitoring, quantification and control of methane -- such as establishing a “methane census” program at EPA -- with an eye toward possible inclusion in stand-alone legislation or upcoming appropriations bills.
