IPI Urges DOI To Address Leasing’s GHG Effects In Upcoming Overhaul

A policy think tank is urging Interior Department (DOI) officials to ensure their imminent recommendations for overhauling the federal oil and gas leasing program account for climate change effects, floating a series of major proposals they say would curb greenhouse gases and maximize taxpayer returns.
