OIG Seeks Improved EPA Tracking Of Clean School Bus Deployment

EPA’s Office of Inspector General (OIG) is pressing the agency to improve its tracking of new school bus deployment spurred by rebates under infrastructure law’s Clean School Bus (CSB) program, and to establish “clear guidelines” for rebate recipients’ management of funds, warning of waste, fraud or abuse without such fixes.
