Pledging ‘Robust’ Enforcement, EPA Issues Final HFC Phasedown Rule

EPA is unveiling its final rule to phase down production of climate-warming hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) used for refrigeration and other purposes, with Biden administration officials also pledging a “robust” interagency enforcement effort to block illegal imports of the chemicals.
