Senate Passes ‘Historic’ Climate Bill, With House Poised To Follow Suit

The Senate after a marathon all-night session has approved Democrats’ budget reconciliation legislation with $374 billion in unprecedented funding to decarbonize industries across the economy, including over $40 billion for various climate, air and environmental justice programs at EPA, as well as new Superfund taxes on the oil industry.
