States Back Plan To Increase ZEV Trucks As EPA Grapples With Policies

As EPA grapples with its efforts to cut emissions from heavy-duty vehicles, 17 states, the District of Columbia and Quebec are supporting a final Action Plan by Northeast air regulators that is intended to transition to 30 percent zero emission vehicles (ZEV) for medium- and heavy-duty truck sales by 2030 and to 100 percent by 2050.
