U.S. Makes New Push For WTO Talks On Climate Measure’s Interoperability

As more governments implement trade-related climate measures to lower carbon emissions, the World Trade Organization should ensure member discussions on such measures are focused on facilitating interoperability and working through how to calculate “embodied emissions” of goods, the United States said in a new submission in Geneva last week.
