USTR Asks For Official Investigation Into Steel, Aluminum GHG Emissions

U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai on Tuesday asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to conduct an investigation into the greenhouse gas emissions of steel and aluminum producers to inform trans-Atlantic negotiations on a “global arrangement” being set up to address GHG emissions as well as non-market excess capacity.
