API urges EPA against granting year-round E15 fuel waiver

The American Petroleum Institute (API) is urging EPA against apparent plans to soon issue a federal fuel volatility limits waiver allowing year-round sale of ethanol blends up to 15 percent (E15), warning the move could disrupt the renewable fuel standard (RFS) compliance credit market and hinting at potential litigation over the decision.
