Biden formally nominates Waterhouse to lead EPA waste office

President Joe Biden has formally nominated Carlton Waterhouse, an environmental justice (EJ) expert, to lead EPA’s Office of Land & Emergency Management (OLEM), after serving as deputy waste chief for the past four months. The White House announced June 22 that it has submitted Waterhouse’s nomination to the Senate, following an announcement earlier this month of Biden’s intent to nominate him to the spot.
