CASAC calls for ammonia focus in NOx-SOx NAAQS review

Members of EPA's scientific panel overseeing the agency's review of federal air quality standards for nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulfur oxides (SOx) are calling for EPA and the panel to look closer at the impact of ammonia on the environment, a pollutant for which environmentalists have unsuccessfully sought specific limits.
