CEQ rescinds Trump-era policy on guidance documents

The White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) is rescinding an 11th-hour Trump administration rule on how CEQ issues guidance documents, after concluding the policy deprives it of the “necessary flexibility” in determining when policy guidance is the best approach to take in specific circumstances.
