Clay products manufacturers ask EPA to further soften MACT

Manufacturers of clay and ceramic products are backing EPA’s proposal to ease compliance with maximum achievable control technology (MACT) air toxics standards for the sector, including through emissions averaging, but are asking the agency to craft additional flexibilities to ease compliance.
