Coalition of states, environmentalists sue EPA over aircraft GHG rule

A coalition of 12 mainly Democratic-led states and three environmental groups including Sierra Club are filing legal challenges to EPA’s final rule setting first-time greenhouse gas standards for aircraft, saying the limits are unlawfully weak and do nothing to reduce GHGs below levels that the industry would achieve without the regulation.
