Congress: Bipartisan group floats bill targeting heavy industry GHGs

A bipartisan group of lawmakers in both chambers is floating legislation that would advance carbon capture and storage (CCS) and other technology in a variety of energy-intensive heavy industries, arguing the bill could help reduce greenhouse gases from a slice of the economy that has proven difficult to decarbonize.
