D.C. Circuit extends stay in challenge to Trump lead rule revisions

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has extended until January its stay of litigation over the Trump administration’s revisions to the lead and copper drinking water rule following EPA’s extension of the rule’s effective date until mid-December. In a July 20 order , the court says the consolidated case Newburgh Clean Water Project, et al. v. EPA is to “remain in abeyance pending further order of the court,” with the environmentalist and state plaintiffs...
