Democratic lawmakers query EPA on condition of air monitor network

A group of 15 Democratic senators and 46 House members is pressing EPA for more information on the condition of the nationwide air monitoring network, after reports of some monitors being inoperable during the current COVID-19 pandemic even though EPA is asserting that monitoring failures have been minimal.
