DOD agrees to improve internal SDWA reporting

The Defense Department (DOD) has agreed to clarify its internal reporting requirements for compliance with drinking water rules after the Government Accountability Office (GAO) found military bases have taken steps to respond to unregulated emerging contaminants but were not reliably reporting violations of drinking water standards.
