Environmentalists sue EPA over AFO air reporting exemption

Environmentalists are asking a federal district court to scrap EPA guidance exempting animal feeding operations (AFOs) from air pollution reporting requirements under community right-to-know law, arguing that a recent law exempting AFOs from Superfund reporting does not extend to the right-to-know statute obligation as EPA claims.
