Environmentalists threaten EPA with ozone plans suit

Environmentalists are threatening to sue EPA over its failure to ensure that states timely submit their plans for attaining the agency’s 2008 federal ozone standard in 10 areas, including major metropolitan regions such as New York, Chicago, Houston and Dallas, and others classified in “serious” nonattainment with the limit.
