EPA’s ban on sewering pharmaceutical waste takes effect

EPA’s ban on healthcare facilities flushing hazardous waste pharmaceuticals will take effect Aug. 21, as part of the implementation of the agency’s pharmaceutical waste rule, which governs a large universe of the sector.
