EPA developing guide on limiting disclosures

EPA is developing a new guidance outlining how to define and potentially restrict “controlled unclassified information” (CUI) in the wake of a White House directive ordering all federal agencies to conduct training for employees on handling of information. The move is raising early concern that officials may be poised to retaliate against employees who disclose information on the agency's activities to the public.
