EPA eyes February for proposing year-round E15 sales waiver

EPA is aiming to release its proposed rule authorizing year-round sale of 15 percent ethanol fuel (E15) by February, an agency spokesman says, with a goal of publishing the final version by June 1. E15 is currently prohibited for sale from June 1 until Sept. 15 due to federal fuel vapor pressure restrictions. EPA's proposal would lift Reid Vapor Pressure limits, imposed because of air quality concerns, and also reform the market for compliance credits under the renewable fuel standard...
