EPA headed for CR as Senate weighs spending bill

Lawmakers appear poised to fund EPA and other agencies’ operations via a stop-gap continuing resolution (CR) when fiscal year 2020 begins next month even as Senate appropriators prepare to hold a hearing on a bill to fund the agency through the rest of FY20.
